Meet Gabe, your next big cuddly teddy bear with a heart of gold. He is a very affectionate dog who loves to be around his human friends and is always curious about what they're doing. He's a loyal companion who is gentle, friendly, and playful, and he's good with older kids (at least 8 years old) as well! Although Gabe has a lot of energy, he is the perfect age - an adult - and he's also already house-trained. He is working on leash training as he likes to pull. With continued positive reinforcement he will learn not to pull. He's just very energetic and wants to see where hes heading!!! He does have some fear of strangers and strange dogs initially, but redirects with positive reinforcement and knowing he's "safe". He's an all-around great dog and he's got so much love to give to the right family. Gabe has been called the "ultimate companion" by his foster, and she says he's an "absolute sweetheart." If you're looking for a furry friend to join your family, Gabe might just be the perfect fit!
