Meet Rudy. Rudy was one of 5 dogs cruelly dumped when his previous owner no longer wanted to care for him. He had been very neglected. Rudy has come a long way, but still has trust issues. It will take him quite some time to feel safe, but we are hoping that someone is willing to give him that time and space in order to become the amazing dog we know he will be. Rudy is working hard at leash training and housebreaking. Again, this will take time and patience. He has his favorite spot on his ears for scratchings, and even wags his tail once in a while. 
Rudys ideal home would be relatively quiet with another friendly playful dog present. He was separated from the only other beings he felt safe with (the other 4 dogs), so the presence of another dog is important to his well-being. A home with older children, if any, would be best. Rudy would also greatly benefit from a situation where someone is home most of the time. Again, he needs to build that trust and confidence. He so deserves it!!
