Our community has a pet overpopulation problem, and it is FMCMA's top priority to help pet owners with that problem by offering low-cost solutions.

One of the discounted spay/neuter services we offer is with Shelter Medicine, a program through MU School of Veterinary Medicine. A few times a month we will have spots available on a van that goes to Columbia for spay/neuter services (for dogs, cats - domestic or feral). We don't always know in advance how many spots, and it will be first come first serve. Check our Facebook page for updates or contact us if you would like to be considered. 

We also receive donations that are specifically to be used for spay/neutering. We will issue vouchers to be used at our preferred veterinary clinic.
