Founder of FMCMA, Willadean Jackson, Passes Away -- Friday August 2nd, 2024
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Willadean Jackson. Willadean was the founder and first president of FMCMA. It’s her “hard headedness” and compassion for animals, especially ones in Macon County, that created this rescue group in 2019. Over the years her health kept her from being as involved as she wanted, but she was always a big supporter of FMCMA. We will miss her fire, dedication, and compassion. She was voice for the voiceless and a hero to us all.
